Because of his outstanding performance as a students' leader in Enviromental Protection Committe, which is under School Council, Htet Myet was invited to attend United Nations Youth Climate Summit, which was held in United Nations Headquaters, New York City on 21st September, 2019.
United Nations Youth Climate Summit is the first and the biggest gathering of youths on climate change at United Nations. It is participated by more than 500 youths whoo are climate activists, innovators, entrepreneurs, and change-makers from all over the world. Of these attendees, 42, inculding Htet Myet, were youths under the age of 18.
