During 2nd National Scouts Jamboree, Htet Myet volunteered in Yay Nge Village, which is situated near Pyin Oo Lwin, for a day.
His personal account of his experience is, "My friend and I were assigned to volunteer at the house of a local villager whose name is U Phoe Sein. We helped him clean his yard and storehouse. After we finished cleaning his yard, he showed us around his home and farm, where he planted lots of vegetables, and introduced us to his family. It was also interesting for us to listen to his life stories."
