Founder and President of School’s Scout Club

Under the guidelines of Myanmar Scouts Association (under Ministry of Education at the time) and Dr. Myint Myint San, Principal of Parctising High School, Yangon University of Education (also known as TTC, Kamaryut), Htet Myet founded the Scout Association at his school in April, 2014.

The followings are some significant activities of the club.

After basic training course, 55 members of the Scout Club pledged Scout Oath and Law together with scouts from other schools at Basic Education High School (4) Ahlone on 11th April, 2014 and became the first scouts of the club.

3 boy scouts from the club, including Htet Myet as a leader, participated in 2nd National Scout Jamboree, which was held in Pyin Oo Lwin and Nay Pyi Taw in 2014.

8 boy scouts from the club, including Htet Myet as a leader, participated in 67th Independence Day Parade, which was held in Nay Pyi Taw in 2015.

7 boy scouts from the club participated in 3rd National Scout Jamboree, which was held in Pyin Oo Lwin in 2015.

The Scout Club welcomed Chief Scouts from Asia-Pacific Region, who came to evaluate scout activities in Myanmar, and presented the club’s activities on 4th September, 2016.

The Scout Club led Keep the Campus Clean & No Plastic Around School Campus Movement at its school (TTC, Kamaryut) in 2016.

The Scout Club participated in Myanmar Scout Centenary Festival and set up an exhibition which showcased the club’s activities at Diamond Jubilee Hall in December, 2016.
